Dusk.

A fire gathering for fathers.

Dusk is a mens circle for dads.

It combines 3 ingredients: nature, fire, and authentic connection.

We meet monthly in a grounded setting in nature around the fire to share stories, wins, challenges, and create space for men to support each other.

They say it takes a village.
and we’re re-villaging
one father at a time.

We meet at Dusk.

Fatherhood Guide & Facilitator

I help men grow into great fathers by preparing them for birth and early fatherhood - because when when fully show up, families and culture thrive. I have over a decade of experience designing and delivering programs that support men, families, and communities through major life transitions. My professional background spans law, education, and social-emotional learning.

I’m a father of two, and have been with my wife for over 15 years. Like many men, fatherhood asked more of me than I expected. Raising Fathers was born from this intersection of lived experience and the work I’ve done in education, designing programs for people globally.

My work has been featured SBS Insight and across podcasts and media platforms focused on modern fatherhood, mental health, and relationships.

FAQs

  • A monthly gathering of dads (both current and expectant) who come together in a safe, supportive, and confidential space to share stories, challenges, and wins in fatherhood. It’s a space for real talk, reflection, and community.

  • Any man who is a father or on the journey to becoming one. Whether you’re expecting your first child or raising teenagers, this is a space to be seen, heard, and supported by other men walking a similar path.

  • This isn’t a lecture or therapy. It’s men gathering in a circle, speaking honestly, listening deeply, and offering wisdom from lived experience. No pressure to share at all or more than you’re ready for. Just show up as you are.

  • Each circle runs for 3 hours and includes:

    • A grounding meditation

    • A check-in round (highs, lows, and questions about fatherhood)

    • Group discussion to offer support and perspectives

    • An anonymous question activity

    • A gratitude practice

  • Not at all. Each session is self-contained. Come when you can. Some dads attend every month, others drop in when they need a reset or want to re-connect.

  • No. These sessions are just for dads. Taking time out from daily responsibilities is part of the power of the experience.

We do offer ‘dads + bubs’ circles, too as well as other types of experiences, which you can find out more about here.

  • No. We welcome men from all backgrounds, but this session isn’t designed to be affiliated with any particular faith group or religion.

  • Feel free to contact us on the contact page. Someone will get back to you within 48 hours.

  • We’re blessed to have access to areas so that if it’s too wet or too hot we can be comfortable.

  • Bring a water bottle and a camping chair. If you don’t have one, that’s fine we can provide a spare.
