In My Day
Back
an evening of connection around the fire for men and their fathers
When's the last time you had a chat with your dad where you felt truly connected? Sure, we talk - maybe often. But so many of those chats orbit on the surface..
"how things?"
"how's work?"
"how's the lady?"
"catch the footy game?"
And yet beneath that, there are often conversations we want to have.
Maybe even need to have.
Not just someday.
Not on a deathbed.
Now.
They don’t have to be heavy or confrontational, but they can be meaningful. Because deep down, every man craves connection, whether he says it out loud or not.
Especially with his father.
Especially with his son.
This night is a space for that. Through activities, conversation prompts, stories, good food, a fire, and a few drinks, we’ll create space for real connection.
No pressure to perform, or even share at all.
No pressure to share deeply.
You’re welcome to speak, listen, reflect, or simply be there and watch the fire,
See you by the fire.

Fatherhood Guide & Facilitator
I help men grow into great fathers by preparing them for birth and early fatherhood - because when when fully show up, families and culture thrive. I have over a decade of experience designing and delivering programs that support men, families, and communities through major life transitions. My professional background spans law, education, and social-emotional learning.
I’m a father of two, and have been with my wife for over 15 years. Like many men, fatherhood asked more of me than I expected. Raising Fathers was born from this intersection of lived experience and the work I’ve done in education, designing programs for people globally.
My work has been featured SBS Insight and across podcasts and media platforms focused on modern fatherhood, mental health, and relationships.

It's likely that you are reading this and would like to bring your father along. This is going to be very accessible for him.
We are not going to be doing any woo stuff, and beers are welcome if that will make it easier (not expected). If you want to know more or have questions, please call me on 0413 658 339.
I hope you trust that this will be worth it. See you around the fire! 🔥
* Note: 'Back in My Day' is a social gathering, rather than a therapeutic space. Everything is by invitation, and no one will be forced to share. This is an 18+ event only.
