Who is this for?

We work with men in any of the below 3 stages of fatherhood.

Pre-conception: You don’t have any kids or a pregnant partner yet. You’re asking yourself questions like “am I ready”, “are WE ready”, and “what needs to change in my life?”. If you’re asking yourself these questions and you’re reading this, well done: you’re already putting more thought and intentionality into fatherhood than most men do. That’s a testament to the dad you’re going to become.

Expecting/Pregnancy: Your partner is pregnant and you’ve got a bub on the way for the first time. Firstly, congrats! You’ll likely have a mixture of excitement, curiosity and foreboding. You’ll be seeking how to best support the mother through pregnancy and all the changes she is experiencing. You’ll be wondering what role you have to play in the birth and labour process. You might even be thinking about the logistics of once the baby is here - how to care for a post-partum mum, a new life, and a home with a family in it.

Have kid(s): You could be on day 1 of your first bub or 15+ years in. This is where the juicy stuff happens. You’re navigating the multiple conflicting priorities of life as a man, a partner, a father. Wondering what showing up as a present father really means when the rubber hits the road. If your kids are young, you might be constantly tired, wondering if this is normal. Your relationship with your partner has changed, or ended entirely, and you’re wondering how things might be able to change. Your life changed irrevocably when your kid entered the world, and your on the journey to not just co-exist with your family, but to truly thrive and feel joy.

Fatherhood doesn’t come with a playbook or roadmap. It’s the most beautiful and challenging change that can come in a man’s life, and there’s no need to do it alone. Jason has personally guided multiple fathers and feels passionately about providing the space to process this profound life stage, learn new skills, and grow so that life at home feels like a blessing, relationships thrive, and fatherhood is everything it can be for you and your family.

What do the sessions cover?

Every 1:1 mentoring space is bespoke to the stage of fatherhood you’re in (see above), the challenges you’re facing, and the vision you have for yourself. Just as there is no 1-way to parent, there is no 1-way that we run our sessions.

We draw upon the advice of parenting experts, evidence-based tools, and insights from working with multiple fathers to give you philosophies, practices, and tangible tools to be a better parent and a better partner, both to your family, and as importantly, to yourself.
